Those off-shores didn't show up this morning as expected. Definitely some crumble on the water. of course, on the day i make a Dawn Patrol appearance. Look for "crouching tiger, hidden board."


Its beautiful down by the beach right now, you should get out there if you have some time.

Still a beautiful day despite the early morning winds.

Still messing with the settings in order to try and get the best video quality possible while still maintaining a decent upload speed.

Anyways, it may sound hard to believe, but more swell arrived overnight and conditions are good. Its a little bit more walled then the last few days and their is definitely some extra juice, but it is still very ridable and even rippable. Have a good one.

What an amazing day of beach weather and highly surfable waves. Faces are easily hitting five feet, combo'd conditions on the North and South side, and the temps have the sand looking nice as well - its still clean right now at 12:45. Sorry for the late upload. Get out there ASAP

Waves look great this morning once again, despite the fat tide that is mushing the break out. Get on it before the tide bottoms out or you will be surfing huge closeouts on the sandbar.

Wave heights definitely have dropped out and although it is brisk, it looks like it might be a warm and sunny day. If wind conditions can holdup it will probably be worth a look once the tide drops out a bit.

January 8th

The final day of the KATIN Pro-Am was held in Huntington Beach under decent conditions. Wave heights were 3-5 feet and the wind was on it early out on the southwest, allowing for the HB wind-slop specialists to do work on a typical blustery and cold mid-January day in Southern California.

The break this morning was working just right, everyone was having fun, and there were waves for everyone. Even some pros out in the water warming up for the Katin Pro-Am which will run tomorrow right here at HB pier.

Waves look great, get some sunshine.

January 5th, 2011

I had camera issues this morning, meaning I only got four minutes of footage instead of 25. To make matters worse this may be the best day of the swell so far and it looks like its going to be a (kinda) warm and beautiful day; this being bad because Im sure there were a lot of waves being ridden this morning. I will go out later and get some more footage, and hopefully get my feet wet as well.
